Privacy

Your family's data, treated with care.

Last updated: July 2026. This page is maintained by the Pum team to answer common privacy questions about the Pum app.

What we collect

  • Account info you provide (name, email, child profiles you create).
  • Activity within the app: quizzes attempted, games played, stories generated, XP and streaks.
  • Chat prompts and Pum's responses, used to deliver the feature and enforce safety filters.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not show third-party advertising to children.
  • We do not use children's chats to train foundation models.

Children's privacy

Child profiles are created by a parent or teacher account. Safety filters, age ratings, blocked topics, and daily chat limits are configurable in the Parent dashboard at any time.

Your rights

You can view, export, and delete data associated with your account or any child profile you manage. Email privacy@trypum.com and we'll help within 30 days.

Security & subprocessors

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Pum uses trusted infrastructure and AI providers to deliver its features; we work only with vendors that meet reasonable data-protection standards.
